Somewhere sunny
seem to have some very good prices from Gatwick, including a winter Sunday service, eg 19-26 Jan £42.70 return ( probably extra for checked baggage)

also booking until end of October 2014

My daughter flew with them said they are very very good, they are just starting transatlantic flight also.

Someone correct me if I have this wrong , but at some point you either go or return via oslo. Turning it into anything from an 8 to 11 hour flight time.

The flights are direct and some of the fares are very competitive indeed.Have a look at their website.

Norwegian Air

The last time I checked, the direct flights with Norwegian Air from Gatwick to Palma were only on a Sunday each week.
Good prices though and at least they are flying through the winter too! :)

The prices look very good but like BA they are only booking until 25th October so it makes half term unbookable at present. Strange Summer timetable is finishing about a week earlier than usual.

Wish they were flying from further north as I am getting so fed up waiting on the big EJ release:rolleyes:

also doing Canaries for £70 quid ish return early on, if you pick your date.....how long 'til the kids leave home...?

The website does show Edinburgh flights but not any direct by the looks of it.
With an overnight stop over in Oslo it would probably be quicker to drive :)

There are some bargains from Gatwick and many direct flights for peanuts  :)

Liverpool also listed but not to PMI by the looks if it at the moment :(

Lets hope they keep use of phones banned....the thought of someone sat next to me talking loudly to their friends back home "I'm not sure where we are over....i'll just check with the stewardess".....give me strength!!!!
