A day trip to Palma is a must I would think. Cathedral and Palace most impressive, as is their setting and as ever the gardens.
By the time we had finished visiting them (there is a car park underground just by the cathedral off the new bit of road) it was more or less lunchtime, we found a really excellent tapas bar called Tast just off Placa Rei Joan Charles I on 'Unio' (?) according to the map I have here.
While there a friend texted me with the good news of London getting the 2012 Olympics!
A lot of the shops looked similar to the ones we have at home, but my son was well pleased with two pairs of jeans from Zara at advantageous prices than the UK.
