Parking near the Ferry Terminal

When my wife and i are out in June, we are going to have 3 to 4 days in Menorca.

We need to leave our car near the ferry port in Alcudia for that time.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to where we could leave it?

Surely a taxi would be easier?

Not sure of the rights, wrongs or legality of it but a couple of years ago we did the same trip (and had a great little mini adventure!!) and left our car in the town car park opposite the Piscis Hotel and walked to the ferry terminal. At the time there were several other obvious long term cars parked there (some possibly abandoned). But as GG says to be safe in these days of the authorities clamping down a Taxi may be better......

I'm taking a bike, so i might ride over and Mrs ChrisW can take a taxi with the bags.

There is plenty of street parking with no restrictions and also some parking bays to the side of the ferry terminal.

As you said, street parking right outside the Terminal was free and easy.

We left the car for 5 days and all was fine.
