Parking restrictions along Calle Formentor (opposite Mar Senses Hotel)

Just noticed barriers & advance notice signs opposite the Mar Senses Hotel & Coral bar restaurant stating that parking will be withdrawn on Wednesday 25th September 2019 due to filming taking place. Could this be for the Mallorca files series? Lots of activity still at the Fortalesa.

Definitely for filming purposes. Some of our Mallorcan neighbours have been contacted by the film company & their premises are being used for one of the scenes.

Well part of Calle Pescador was turned into a film set by Palma Pictures last night. The Coral Bar restaurant was included and Laroc restaurant was closed & used as a canteen by the film crew.
We could only glimpse a very small part of the filming as Palma Pictures understandably had several burly guards blocking access to the main area of filming next to Juan, the Carpenter's shop in Calle Pescador.
Part of the filming included a fight by his store & he told us that the film company had made him a dummy door which would be broken during the fight.
By this morning, all the tables, stools, barrels, posters, props including a large gorilla, & lorries had gone - almost as if nothing had happened in the street!
And Juan's door had been replaced with the original one.
