Returned once again to the Playa Mar this year. Have visited about 6 times now and found it very good until this year.
We asked for a top floor apartment overlooking the pool. We got a ground floor apartment facing the back of the restaurant. Despite our returning loyalty the hotel did not move us.
But what disappointed us even more was the poor hygiene in the apartment. Massive dirt marks smeared the patio door and the kitchen wall. Plus the lamp base was very, very dusty on top. The maids came in 6 days in the week and yet still these things were not cleaned.
I am afraid this hotel has gone down hill dramatically and we will not be returning.
