Finally we have the program for this years Fiesta in Puerto Pollensa. Details can be seen on the events page www.puertopollensa.com/events.html

The fiesta starts on Friday 4th July and culminates with a firework display on Sunday 12th July. If any of you are lucky to be there during that time, do report back & some digi-photos would be nice!

Well - I'll be in Pollensa then, but it looks like the fireworks are on at 12.30 at night! Have I got that right? Doubt if we'll be bringing the kids to that one.

Yes, the time is right. That's quite the norm with Spanish Fiestas & Spanish life in general - everything's much later. That's why you need a siesta ....

the fireworks are amazing,
we usually stand on the beach to watch, they are truly spectacular and a great atmosphere
worth keeping children up for special occasion, or depending on your location watching with them from balcony

We did go after all, and took the nine-year-old, who loved it even though he only managed a siesta of 30 minutes, if that. It was well worth it, and I've posted more on another forum thread.
