Reprieve for the Chat Room etc.

Dear Members,

thank you very much for the overwhelming support that I've received both in the forum, by message and by email. Nearly everyone who has contacted me is in favour of focussing the Forum yet again on Pollensa and understood why it was necessary to suspend the Happy Hour & Chat Room.

However there have been a few distraught members who requested that we keep the Chat Room. No-one has asked for the Happy Hour to remain.

Therefore I propose keeping the Chat Room for the time being.

The Forum however will be focussed on matters related to Pollensa. This may be mean that posts are moderated in order to keep them on topic. As before any posts that criticise or attack another member will removed as will any posts that openly name & criticise a company or business as this can result in litigation. There are other, more subtle, ways of warning other members against using such companies and you do have the facility to send private messages via the ezInbox.

I am also going to 'hide' the 'Happy Hour' so if anyone still wants copies of their posts, please send me a message.

I really do hope that we can look forward to happier times on this forum in 2007 and thank you very much again for supporting this forum.

Tho i will miss our Happy hour, i think it could be for the best.

I agree with jiggy "no more sniping" We almost lost the Chatroom and the Forum through all the nasty comments . Lets use this opertunity to get everything back to the way it was in 2005.
