Today is the "Fiesta del San Cristobal" (St. Christopher's day to us), there is know way you can be here in the Port and miss it because the noise is deafening, you can hear them coming a mile away.
Lorry drivers bedeck their trucks with bunting, drive around the streets sounding their horns and throwing sweets for the kiddies. I think they have pitstops on the way and finish off for lunch in Trio.

they congregated at end of our street and woke mrs smiddy up
after a late night in nostalga
