Well it's done!!! Just booked Easy Jet flight from Gatwick to Palma for next Jan. VERY reasonable prices...eg £16.74...hold bag extra. Have assumed Ryanair still won't be flying to Palma from our local Bournemouth Airport.....though would be good if they do....might get another early Spring break!!

Excellent Animagic, have been here for Sant Antoni before or is this your first one? :D.

Our first one was 2 years ago..totally amazing! Great atmosphere. Also will have some days out around the Island as booked for 2 weeks. Something to look forward to in the New Year!!!

Only flight option for us is to arrive lunchtime on 16th and leave morning of 19th

Will we miss much ?

Anythings better than nothing cd, but is there no way to get a flight from a different airport to arrive earlier?

Only stanstead or Gatwick both of which are a real pain for us to get to

Stanstead probably easier for you than Gatwick. But hey!! Go where ever gets you there - book it today!! :D

No I dont think you will miss anything..fires are the night of the 16th and the tree is etc is the 17th ..18th to recover so all looks good :)

Flights booked ...... Very short break but yeeeeeeeeaaaaaa we will see the bonfires

We're coming out for Sant Antoni in January, arriving on the 15th, this will be our first time. Can anyone help with a rough timetable of events? And we're wondering whether or not we need to book restaurants in advance.
Many thanks.

Ok Sparky, thanks. Really looking forward to it.

Still deciding whether to get up early enough to drive up and see the tree cut, or stay in bed a bit longer and just wait by the bay for the sea arrival! May see what the weather is like, or how the night before went! ;)
