Sea front accommodation recommendations?

The 'big ladies" have fallen prey to Father Time at last! 4 of our number for health reasons ( not necessarily their own) can no longer join us. Sad news for us after 20odd years, but the remaining 6 will return! And of course it's much easier to find places to stay for 6. We feel we'd like a front line , or very close, apartment or house. I know there are lots of good agencies, and we seem spoiled for choice, so I thought I'd ask if you know first hand of places to recommend........many thanks!

We rented a 3 bed apartment on the sea front near sea bar is. Really spacious, private roof terrace and amazing views. Booked it on owners direct through JS properties (their office is on the roundabout as you go into town).

Thanks, just heard today , we have found one! Pine walk Catalina I think it's callled ......looks very nice on the website. We will be 5 or 6, just as well we have those who don't mind sharing a double bed if necessary! Never really understood why so many places have a majority of double beds.....really cuts down on possible rentals. We have a gite, and made a positive decision to have singles.....you can always put them together!

It's more traditional in Mallorca to have single beds - presumably because of the hot weather!

We only have single beds. I had a cleaner once when we had single and double beds. She would always assume that if 2 people then they would share a bed! Singles save on that embarrassment.

I have always found it amusing that the Spanish for double bed is 'cama de matrimonio'
