I just thought I'd let you all know about this great online App I found (a little late) that allows you to upload your own photos (of PP or anywhere!) & send real Postcards to anyone in the world. Usual cost is £1.49 (not bad for personalised postcard & postage) BUT it is FREE until Sept 9th (end of Paralympics) if you use it via Facebook as it is sponsored by Samsung.

I've already sent a few to try & they arrived today. I'll be sending a load more when I come out next week :D

Just access our Facebook Page & follow the link.

Now not being very technically minded can anyone please tell me what to do here. Obvious to most I'm sure but not to me! Total lack of basic skills I'm afraid!

Anyway - decided to send my grandson in PP a photo and went via Facebook as suggested by Pollensa but told that safari not accepted and to go through their website. This I did and fine but not free.

I wold be grateful if someone could tell me what to do please - in easy even a 2 year old could o it terms! Lol

Thanks

Hi Eleanor,

if you're using safari, is that a Mac or Ipad? Am afraid I use a PC & the only 'free' version is via Facebook on my PC & not via Facebook on my phone or their phone App. All the other options work well but they are not free & it will cost you £1.49 to send your postcard. So maybe you can't get the 'free' option via Facebook for Safari. Has anyone else tried?

As I understand it, Samsung allocated a massive budget to cover the free use during the Olympics which got used up early on. They've now restricted it to Web-based Facebook only - I assume so that it's easier to promote Samsung - well they are paying for it!

Thanks Zelda. Yes I use an iPad, iPhone and apple laptop. I downloaded the app onto the iPad and the free offer isn't available. Apple are usually very good so perhaps it's a case of adjusting?
Thanks anyway - be great to get the free offer but even at 1.49 is a good deal! Make a nice change to greeting cards too!

Yes, I'm sure the Ipad App is good but they do appear to be restricting the free offer to the Facebook web page only. :(
