Sending a Parcel to Spain

Not a PP specific query, but I hope that an answer may interest some other members.

I have a large framed picture under glass, of great personal value but no financial value, that I want to send from the U.K. to an address in mainland Spain. I’m trying to find a courier who will both pack and deliver this item.

Does anyone have any ideas or experience to share, please?

I think you will find that after Brexit any item entering Spain will need to go through customs. This will greatly delay the arrival. Obviously you should make sure you insure the item.

Thanks for the response Mallorcaboy. Fortunately, the item is a collage of worthless personal memorabilia and the only value is in the frame, which will both be considered a gift, and under the tax threshold. So no problem there. I just need to find a reliable courier.
