I had a very bizarre experience this morning that involved literally sex on a beach! But it also involves photos of PP so hence I've put this in the photos sub-forum. Bet that's got you interested in reading and viewing the rest of this thread now!

Got up early to photograph the sunrise over the bay. I wanted to make a time-lapse movie of the sun rising over the mountains and the beach. So at 6.20AMish I headed down to the Pine Walk beach, put my camera on a tripod, set it to take a photo every 10 seconds and settled down to wait for the hour and a bit the camera would take to fill up my memory card.

After 5 mins or so in the corner of my eye I spotted in the near darkness what I thought was a young lady sat on a sun lounger about 10 metres away from where I was with my camera. I didn't think anything of it - I assumed she was sleeping off the affects of the night before - until a minute or so later I heard her moaning. I was then worried that she might be in trouble or going into labour even as she looked in her early 20s. So I paid her some more attention. It was then I noticed that she was gyrating!

I then spotted her man friend underneath her and realised that that cocktail name was happening in real life!

This left me in a quandary - did they not know I was there? :o It was dark but it was getting lighter all the time. I was only 10 minutes or so into my 1 hour time lapse and I didn't want to move my camera as it would ruin the final movie.

I assumed they would spot me and stop. But they didn't! 30 minutes (!!) later they were still at it. As this is a family forum I won't go into details but suffice to say, he had some stamina to him and they knew a lot of positions! ;)

It was really obvious by this stage that they couldn't care less that other people were on the beach (another photographer was shooting the sun rise as well) because it was quite light with the sun due to rise in about 5 minutes time. I could easily see them and they could see me.

Once they had finished she skinny-dipped into the sea and they put their clothes back on and left me to the beach.

I took 476 photos and they were all of the sunrise, honest! Not one of them were of the amorous couple.

It turned out I had the wrong settings on my camera so not many of them are usable but I did take a few that came out OK and here they are.

The 1st two were taken using my expensive DSLR camera and wide-angle lens. The last one was taken using my iPhone. Makes me wonder why I bother with the expensive kit sometimes...

Hope you like the photos and sorry that they aren't of the amorous couple!

Excellent, beautiful pic's - and not a sign of camera-shake!

Like the last one and the first one also

OMG!!!! what a story....obviously the exhibitionists got up earlier than you did ;):eek: lol!!!.

Fantastic photos though Simon, thank you :D.

Thanks and tripods are very useful things as I think my hands were shaking :D They'd left by the time I took the one on my phone.

Like the last one and the first one also

Thanks very much, glad you like them.

Am very grateful that you didn't post any! As you say it is a Family Forum - but great story!

No problem, but as I said, I didn't take any of the couple so there is nothing to post.

Haha, thanks Lynne, they obviously do. I suspect they hadn't been to bed yet though....;)

Beautiful pics and a very funny story :D

I witnessed the same a few years back when we were staying in an apartment on Pine Walk. I had got up early to get a glass of water. I walked onto the balcony to admire the beautiful view and a few yards away on the beach a couple were making good use of a sunbed

When I told my husband later he looked horrified and then said 'Why didn't you wake me up '? ;)

Haha, great couple of posts! I can confirm that the man had no need for viagra!

Glad you didn't post any pictures Simon. The wife would have killed me if she had seen me on that sunbed:o

I know why you had a headache and the water was for the aspirin. Right.

Yes snowy you are probably right ;)

( The boys are heading to Dunstable now but the weather doesn't look great :()

Below is a link to the time-lapse that I took yesterday. It's not my best but it will do (I missed the sun coming up over the mountains because I had filled my memory card). Sorry also for the abrupt end, I can't work out how to stop that from happening!

While you are watching it though try not to think what is happening just off frame on camera left!

Sunrise over Pollensa Bay time-lapse

Fantastic! I should really make the effort to get up early and see the sunrise while we are out here. On the other hand I could just wake up at a more sociable time and watch your video again ...
