Shopping ar Easter

Hi, we are visiting at Easter and need to do some shopping for our apartment. What are the general rules for Easter opening hours? Does anyone know if shops in the Port, in Pollensa town, Inca and Palma (IKEA, Jysk, Alcampo, Euronics, furniture shops etc) are likely to behave as in England i.e open Easter Friday, Saturday and Monday but shut Easter Sunday. I realise this is asking a lot so any info regarding any shops would be of use. Many thanks

I think you need to think more along the lines of christmas day type holidays. Ikea is closed on friday and monday. Thursday is also classed as bank holiday but many bigger shops will be open thankfully. I'm getting our keys on weds 28th and I need to get the basics sorted before the family all turn up on good friday... might be very basic...

Exciting times. BTW my family are from Macc although I live in Northampton now but I'll still be bringing a few token northern items to decorate the place. Maybe I can get mrs be to knock up a few oat cakes....
