Thank you for your replies. Unfortunately with my dithering we missed out on the apartment we wanted
Back to the drawing board. Feel we have left it too late now. Flights have gone up £350 and there seems to be nothing left! Boo!!!

Fingers crossed your luck turns and you get to spend your holidays in a nice apartment in PP.

Maybe the private rentals?
Different departure airport / dates?

Yes try the private rentals on this site, we have used them loads of times, and had great holidays, lot of choice, also try checking the flight prices on a different machine or not logging on, companies trace your usage on their sites and do increase the prices on flights you are looking at if they think you are dithering, so might be worth checking the prices again, good luck!

I thought the same, but it was lovely to chat with other PP lovers and to put names to faces over a drink at the square.
