Hi Joanna

Welcome to the forum. If you are interested in advertising your services when you find your venue, please don't hesitate to contact pollensa, our webmaster, who will be happy to help you with details.

Thanks
Jane

Thanks for your welcome and reply.
If you can provide me with information re the Tapas Bar and advertising I will be most gratefull.
Kindest regards,
Joanna

Hi Joanna

The Tapas Bar is a separate forum where lots of members on here (and I wish it were more!) post messages about anything other than PP (although we do occasionally let the resort creep into our conversations)! If you would like to join, just click on the link in my signature line. You will need to register to post.

Bienvenidos Joanna, a few of us expats have tried the crossword you are using on your flyer. God it's hard or even impossible.

Hola Sparky,
Pleased to hear you tried the crossword.
I thought it was a bit different than just have a flyer. I made some clues easy and other a bit more challenging. Let me know if you would like the answers! or a few more clues!
Suerte or goodluck
Joanna

Hola Joanna,

We are going to hold lessons in the bar through the winter as I mentioned to you when you were in last, probably looking at Friday evenings starting October / November
Regards

Tony

Thanks for reply Tony.
I shall be in to talk to you soon regarding the Spanish classes starting in October/ November. I suggest a complete begginers class and also maybe on another day a conversation class.
I believe one of the problems in Mallorca is that the people that are learning and know a bit of spanish do not get to practice conversation which is very important to build up confidence.
If its ok I will bring down a form so that people that are interested can write down their names.
Hasta pronto

Joanna

Hi Joanna,

could I suggest that if you do hold a conversation class that you make it a drop-in class so that temporary residents i.e. property owners, can come along to one or two classes when they are in PP. If something like that was available, I would come along when I visit. I did GCSE in the UK a few years ago but haven't done anything formal since. I'd like to brush-up on my general spoken Spanish. Anyone else?

But if you do want it to promote it here, please contact us at advertise@puertopollensa.com to take out advertising - thanks. :)

I agree Pollensa a drop- in class would be great! I did 4 years of Spanish at school...just a few years ago ;)... and keeping up with my fluent daughter isn't easy

I would also be interested in a drop-in class. Can't sign on to any courses in UK as they always coincide with my visits to PP and always miss 2/3 weeks.

I'll watch this thread with interest.:)
