Taxi on Saturday

We cannot get a taxi on Saturday evenings even if you try to book one and we are told to ring 5 mins before it is required !!
The wait time could be up to an hour, even if you ask a Hotel to book one for you.We were also told they all go to Palma, which must be great if you stay there !!!

Probably because Saturday is changeover day for rentals in PP the taxi companies don't want to book short journies in advance, and miss out on an airport run. Good business plan but not good for the customer who needs to be somewhere locally at a certain time

Should be some at the roundabout if you can get there.

I agree with Debz re airport runs but also the last two weekends we have had San Juan, San Pere and end of the school year so lots of parties in the area .

On the last few trips we have had a taxi back to the airport Saturday afternoon/evening from the front, there are normally plenty there, in fact last time we jumped the queue as the first taxt driver saw we were going to the airport and called us over saying he was a priority airport service
