TheFussies have just returned from an excellent 2 week holiday in PP. During this visit Miss Fussy and various Fussy Friends joined Mr & Mrs Fussy. A diverse array of bars and restaurants were visited including:
Bars- Batacuda, café Mombassa, Buddha, Makassar, Café D’Eu Moll & café Llonja.
Restaurants included O’Lume, can Cuarassa, Trencadora, Bellavista, Los Faroles, Citrus, Hells Kitchen, Celler la Parra, Tribeca & el Posito.
Bars were rather quiet this year and lacking in the usual sparkle, evidence of a lack of visitors to the port. Restaurants all provided good quality meals with only a relatively few disappointments to report. Two, Bellavista and la Trencadora (under current management), were new to us this year and I could strongly recommend either to forum members. Citrus is also new to us in its current reincarnation, changing from a pub with food to bistro. Kenny and Maureen have really done a marvellous job and we wish them every success.
It was nice to meet Purpleboots and Smiddy (in O’Lume) and put faces to some of the other members at the forum meeting last week. I can’t recall all the names but they included Sparky, Pollensaman, sws97sdg and Zelda. Apparently I just missed Tone in O’Lume on our final visit.
We had such a good time that surprise, surprise we have booked already for 2012.
