Roig Cat & Luckjon - thanks again, your posts prompted me to overcome my cynicism (about being stuck with only return flights) and the EasyJet website allowed me to transfer (for free) all our flights from May 2021 to May 2022..

How are members getting on transferring their travel insurance. We have had annual policies up until this January when insurer would only grant one trip policies, age and health prejudice!
Had to cancel early May trip and looking to transfer policy to May 22. Have already booked October 21 with insurance. Hope to be able to take advantage of this trip or will again have to try and transfer policy to Oct 22 trip.

Sparky, perhaps this warrants a separate thread?

Hi Miller, when we travelled to PP in September 'against FCO advice' (this was the period when we had to quarantine for 10 days at home on our return) we got a great annual policy from Staysure which covered us for Covid. You may wish to give them a try.

I’d fully agree with Teflon. I’m a retired insurance broker and also have annual cover with Staysure. It’s by far the best deal I could find for age, health and COVID. Travel Insurance is one of the most complex policy wordings as it covers so many different aspects. It’s always difficult to compare one product with another as the policies have so many sections, but in my view the Staysure product is a good buy.

Thanks Disorderly and Teflon. I am with " Insurance with" and had annual policy until this year. Old problem of "computer says no". Both wife and I in early 70's and have had medical problems, most years ago, but loyalty does not seem to count for much these days.
Will try your suggestion next time.
I am a retired Lloyd's insurance broker as well but presume my Marine knowledge would only help for cruise policies?
Thanks again
