Headed over for a flying visit 31st - 3rd. Enough places open and along with lovely weather I'm glad I went.

31st. Arrived and had a quick bite in Dolc Sa Pobla which is one of my favourites. Golfed at Pollensa (course is really poor) then had a quick beer in Stay before another very brief one in La Bod as it was closing and then another couple in Tecun. Tecun seems to be the bar of choice for the ex pat crew. Kebab from the one in the square and then up the road for an early night.

1st Had breakfast in Vitho then walked along the Pine walk, up to the bypass and then along to the last roundabout and back to the flat. 10km in total walked in just over two hours. I didn't know it was 10km around the "circuit" so to speak. Popped into town and enjoyed the sun at cafe 1919 which was packed. Dinner in Pascalinos then up the road as it was getting cold.

2nd Went to Dr Majorca in Alcudia for my test to come home. Had a wee walk about but it was really quiet in comparison to PP. Came back and repeated breakfast and the walk of the previous day. Settled into Dolc Sa Pobla for the sun which was nice but the service wasn't the fastest as it was absolutely rammed. Had dinner in Liberty which was really nice and caught up with a few old friends. Met another mate in L'Aldea later to watch football which was also busy but staggeringly cheap. Home sharp again.

3rd Home via Barcelona which wasn't a problem.

If you're thinking about going out my recommendation would be to go for it. Only once was I asked for my vaccine passport which wasn't an issue and there are enough places open to keep you going. PP is as charming during the quiet times as it ever is.

I need to add that I did two good washings and managed to get them hung up and dry and put away so it wasn't all glamour.

Thank you for your Trip Report, Hoopy. I was sorry it didn’t attract more comment as you packed a great deal of activity into a fairly short visit. It just underlines that flying visits can be great fun at this time of year. You’ve proved that there’s no need to be put off by travel restrictions, happily about to be relaxed again.

Really enjoyed reading your report. Enjoy your next trip!

Great to hear about the places open currently. Sounds like you had a great trip! What a bonus this time of year:)
