Valentin Puerto Azul Aparthotel

Hi there,

We are coming out to PP in a fortnights time. Has anyone stayed at the Puerto Azul recently? If you have, how did you find it? We were out last year and stayed at the Oro Playa which was in a great location but was a little bit tired. We looked in on the Puerto Azul and it did look good.
We have been told the kitchen area of the apartment has no utensils etc and you have to pay to switch on the fridge. Can anyone tell me if the fridge has a freezer part. I know it sounds a peculiar question but we have a couple of picky toddlers and we are bringing their foodstuffs which we would like to freeze.

Hope someone can answer my questions. Only 14 days to go and counting!!!

Valentin Puerto Azul

Hi, we were there two weeks ago for our second visit, and have just booked to go back in September. It is correct that the kitchen areas have no utensils and you do have to pay to switch on the fridge which does not have a freezer compartment. We find the hotel to be excellent. the food is good and plentiful and the staff are really helpful. The entertainment sometimes leaves a bit to be desired but that is not a priority for us. The pool area is really nice and child friendly with plenty of sunbeds. We noticed that the Oro Playa was closed and looked derelict while we were there. The worrying thing is that it still appears on various companies' websites as being available!
