There is a new place open within the RCNPP area called Varadero Club. It is at the end of the pier that goes straight down from the roundabout at Cafe 1919. It is a fabulous location, and prices are very reasonable. It has the best breeze in the Port - great on a hot day! The views are also fabulous looking out over the bay, or back towards PP. We used to frequent the little hut on that spot before it was removed to make way for this new place, so it is nice to see something good in its place. Anyone can go, you don’t need to be a member of the Yacht Club. It is a bar that serves light snack type food.

I should have added to my earlier post the bar is on the first floor so you need to go up the steps at the middle of the building. There is a lift too. I have attached some photos of our visits as they show the view much better than I can describe, though they don’t show the lovely breeze!!

Thank you Sharon. Went along this morning, first visit for a light breakfast. Excellent find and I think the best views around PP. Beautiful sunny morning and watched 2 yachts coming out of the water.
Opening in the Evenings from Monday the 9th. Other side will also be open, more space and different views. Seemingly can only reserve if holding a large event e.g. Birthday or similar.
Will be back in next few days, a must.

Thanks for the additional information about the opening times. I have been meaning to ask that, but always forget when I am there! It would be a great place in the evening in the heat of the summer.
