hi,
Excellent site and great info.
A few questions for the local experts.:)
We are coming out to stay at the above Villa situated on Calle del Pinsa.
It looks like a nice area and villa as far as i can tell from Solmars website.
Would i be right?
Any tips for supermarkets and eating/drinking nearby would be great as one of our
party has some mobility problems and cant always walk too far and we are trying to avoid hiring a car.
Also is it easy enough to get a taxi to and from the centre of town if needs be?
Whats the quickest/shortest way to walk into the centre.
Many thank in advance for your help.

Hi Great Dane and welcome to the forum. The villa is in a nice quiet area, The Hideaway, Aries Bar and the Rosa Blanca are the 3 closest places to eat and drink. There is a Spar supermarket in between Aries and RB but i would only use it for papers or emergency supplies as it will be expensive, the bus stop is outside here. Taxis are easy to get and will cost 5 or 6€, the main road is the quickest way to walk into town and will take about 15 mins. Hope this helps :).

Welcome Great Dane - I agree with what Sparky has told you. We have an apartment on Calle Pinsa very close to this Villa.

It is a very quiet residential area and you are only a couple of hundred yards from the three bars and Spar, which ahs an in store bakery and is great for fresh braed and croissants first thing in the morning.

The area is also quite flat so mobility is fairly easy.

Taxis to and from the port should cost 5 euros each way.

It will take about 15-20 minutes to walk into the centre of the port and 15 minutes to get directly to Tamarels beach by the Pollensa Park hotel.

You can also make use of the spa at the Duva apartments across the road from the Rosa Blanca (for a fee of course). There is a pool, gym, sauna, bar, exersice classes, etc

You will have a lovely, quiet and relaxing holiday.

thanks for the prompt replies.

Can i just call a taxi to pick us up from the Villa,if needs be?
Is there a local number i can call to arrange?
cheers
