We stayed at the Vista Monte apartment www.puertopollensa.com/rentals/properties/vistamonte.php booked via this site. We stayed from May 28 to June 4 2005 and had a great time. The apartment was perfect for us (me, the wife and our 4 year old son) and we had a great holiday.
Ian and Sue, the apartment owners, were really nice and were there when we arrived. They helped us settle in for a few minutes and then left us to it.
The apartment is in a great location, 250m from Llenaire beach. The beach has lovely sand, clear shallow sea, pedallos, sunshades, sunbeds etc - perfect for kids.
The apartment is about 30 mins walk from PP centre but the bus stop was next to the beach and you can get a bus to the centre every 15 mins until about 8PM.
The apartment had a fantastic roof terrace and also a balcony - the roof terrace had a great view and was perfect for both breakfast and evening BBQs! Apartment was very comfortably furnished with air con in the lounge and the two bedrooms. Have to say that the decor was not totally to our taste but it was very comfortable and had everything you would need.
We had an excellent pool which was shared with the 5 other apartments in the block. When we were there 4 of the other apartments seemed to be empty so we pretty much had the pool to ourselves. The only other people in the block were a lovely old Mallorcan couple who were really nice and friendly - they didn't mind that our son was noisily playing in the pool. Everyday when we returned after our days out they wanted to know what we'd done and wanted to talk to our "little man" aka our 4 year old!
All in all, I can really recommend this apartment - perfect for a family holiday.
