Hi, can anyone tell me if there is anywhere in PP where i can find information on local walks with maps etc? I would imagine the tourist information might help but wondered if there was anywhere else. Thanks, monty.

Walking Info

You could do a lot worse than logging on to Rich Strutt's web site which is:- mallorcanwalkingtours.puertopollensa.com

Rich is a great guy and organises walks all over the island with a number around PP. We have been on a quite a few and they are well organised, informative, reasonable cost (which includes transport if necessary) and very enjoyable. His contact details are on his web site and he lives in and operates out of PP. He usually does about 3/4 a week varying in difficulty and ranging from 7 to about 15 kilometres in length.

You won't be disappointed.

I fully endorse a day-walk with Rich Strutt - we have done several. However on a similar note can anyone suggest any favourite short walks/strolls in the Pollensa area that are not in the books? i.e. not Boquer Valley or Cala San Vicente. I keep seeing the new signposts to various paths & I wondered where they all went. I know some are for the Dry-Stone route but this ends at Pollensa & there seem to be plenty of others marked.
