Walking to Cala San Vicente

...apparently they can't stop you from walking to Puerto Pollensa from Cala San. Also there's a brand new sign at the Mollins beach directing you the way!!!

Someone who works in the Hotel I stay in told me they had a route with a detour missing the said gate. One day I took the wrong turning about 400metres west of the start of the walk and ended up at the back of PP beside the 2 boat yards and was surprised to see various groups clutching sheets of paper and heading up the road past the boatyards which looks like it must meet the original route just about where the path starts to climb.
If someone knows the name of the yards or if this path does link up then just maybe we have found the new route.
