Weather in October

Never been out to Majorca in October always in August so was wondering on the whole what the temperatures etc were like. Thanks juliex

We went October half term last year and spent every day on the beach, it was like a nice british summer. Don't know if that is the norm though. PP was very quiet, sun loungers taken off beach near end of week. In saying that it was nice seeing PP that way, the bay was stunning.

we have gone the first week in October for the last few years and on the whole the weather has been pretty good...have had some rain but not enough to spoil the holiday

The very end of September and early October are my favourite times to visit, nice and warm and also very peaceful.

If you have only ever been in August you might think it is too quiet to begin with.

My wife did not like our first October visit, too quiet.

Now we cant stand it in the busy season and only visit very early or late in the year, too many people on our beach to go in the high season

More people should visit out of season, it's fantastic !

Did October half term for about 9 years. Only had cold weather one year - 53 degrees. All of the other years temp in the low 70's. Sea was lovely and warm but as the days are short it gets cold on the beach at about 4 pm.

My Motto is " If the Sun's Out its hot ". October can be excellent as not too hot and not too busy. I think I read where September can be the wettist month (Sparky might be able to tell us). I have sunbathed in December and January. We always used to come out in May but over the past years the weather seems to have changed like elsewhere and is not as reliable as it used to be. October in P.P.is better than what you can expect in the UK
