Cheers Rockape, not an easy step to take but at 45yrs old Susie and I were really starting to enjoy life and watching our boys grow up so being spat out and left on my own while the world was still whizzing along was really hard.
Ironically Pollenca played a part in my new relationship. I'd let my club mate Nathan go stay in the house with his family back in April and he picked me and the boys up from the airport at the end of his stay and we all went out for dinner in town that eve. After dinner, the kids went home and I went out to U Gallet with Nathan and his wife Louisa and this topic came up. She suggested I should meet with her boss at some time... Louisa also dropped my name to Niki and a few months later we agreed to go out on a none date, just for a walk, as I didn't want a "relationship" just a pal to hang out with, anyway, that "failed" miserably. Its far from easy, esp as it's so soon after Susies passing but overall its a nice thing and she loves Pollenca - she used to work in spain and she's a top level triathlete so what more could she want
Hopefully we'll get to meet a few of you on our visits soon. We'll be staying longer and longer once my youngest goes to uni (21 months...)
