Wifi/Internet Access 2011 - wifi in the square?

If you come across any existing & new places with wifi and/or PCs do post here - we already have some featured on Internet Cafes, Cybercafes, Computers - Puerto Pollensa, Mallorca Majorca

I have not heard anything about this but there are now many places that offer free wifi for the cost of a drink.

I've just come across this post Zona wifi gratuita en Mallorca ibRED - Aj Pollença which refers to free wifi in the square in Pollensa town. Apparently it cuts after 20 mins to stop people downloading massive files but should be fine for email & browsing. Has anyone tried it?

Hi Pollensa, i assume this facility is only available in the town and not the port ............what a shame .

My guess is that it is provided by a local computer shop. So the council would need to do a deal with somewhere similar in PP too.
