We have just returned from a tour of the Canary Islands and although we had warmer temperatures (25c) at this time of the year than in the Balaerics, after visiting Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria (and Tenerife previously) we have to report that none of them came close to our beloved Puerto Pollensa, plus the fact that our flight time was over 4 hours against 2.5 hours to Majorca.

Since we were last in the area, we've had three weeks touring in the US and are just back from three weeks in Tenerife. That's three different holidays and I wouldnt rank one higher than another.

Looking forward to our next trip in April. We hadnt planned to be visiting this year but got a "deals" email from Villa Select and couldnt resist. Of course, the cheap villa deal has turned into a not cheap holiday. Flights are expensive and, in fact, we couldnt get one at a sensible time on the Saturday so are coming on the Friday and having an extra night at the Illa D'Or. Then there's the car hire..........
