WANTED: furniture wanted

I am looking for various bits and pieces including sofas and wardrobes etc. I don't want to spend the earth and wondered if there were any second hand shops around. I have looked in the charity shop and to be honest I thought they were expensive for what they were offering. Are there any other charity shops with furniture?

There is a reclaimation yard in Alcudia on Avinguda de la Platja - might be worth a look. They have alot of ex hotel stuff.

one thing I will say is that if you buy any second hand wooden furniture check it for woodworm - it is common on the island easy to treat with treatment available from the ironmongers e.g. Plomer, etc

Wish I had seen this post earlier, I have just taken two sofas to the Allan Graham charity shop, they were in excellent condition. They may still be there if you go in/ring them.

Missed them for the day! Just popped down and closed. What a pain! Will try tomorrow!

There's also a handy Facebook group called North Mallorca 2nd hand buy and sell.
You could have a look to see what's on offer on there or post a message about what you are looking for.

Popped in but unlucky. Nothing there but a really tatty old sofa - how can they charge such prices? It was fit for the tip!

I wonder if they may have taken them to their other shop. I will pop back tomorrow to ask. Thanks Family Ordonez - what a shame!

GG I popped again this time finding the correct road. I couldn't find anything likely to be the place you mention. Is it obvious? Just wondering if it might not be there anymore? Thank you for your help anyway.

Try the second hand shop in Pollensa opposite the estate agents engel & volkers, they have a shop and a storage somewhere, a friend has just almost furnished his new apartment for rentals from there.

Sorry Tomir - it is possible that it has closed although I can see it on Google maps but that could be imagery from long ago I guess
