were trying it for a first time from the 3rd to the 8th out with jet 2 and home with ryanair to and from edinburgh cheap as chips so gotta give it a go and poss tour the island at this time of year rather than the summer heat , really looking forward to it , hopefully nice sunshine during the day and plenty of food and wine at night

Out in November

Im thinking of coming out in November. What is the weather like at the moment? And also what is still open? We know the port pretty well after spending our last 11 years holiday there! But never have come out of season! Any help?

Thanks Sparky! The dream is to move out within the next year or so. Finding it tough to know where to go to get general info though! Have 2 young boys, so schools, long term rentals (not at holiday rates!) etc. also wish someone would tweet daily pics to keep the port alive in our minds!
