This is a total disgrace to Puerto Pollença and those in high places who supposedly run things. 20.45 a bar full of happy holidaymakers enjoying a drink 20 minutes later after the police count chairs it is shut. Words fail me

It wont be long till tourists go elsewhere, it will be Pollensa and its Port that will suffer.

Why on earth didn't the police just ask Jose to just reduce the number of chairs? There would have been very little disruption for all concerned. Doubt that most customers would not even have noticed, or maybe the police wanted to let the world know who's in charge.

My understanding is that he was asked/told to reduce table numbers last week or earlier this and can only assume he hadn't complied.

We were there on Saturday and many tables were gone but he was bringing more out as people were arriving, so i assume the police have been keeping an eye on the place .

Was Jose just closed for the night or is it more serious than that. I'm out in a few weeks and it's good for the last drink of the night.

Once again proof that the worlds gone mad. Never mind the years that passed where you could brake your neck with the state of some of the pavements or be electrocuted with live cables sticking out all over the place. No problem.

However should a chap have a few extra chairs passed the quota and all hell will break loose.

Can we expect to see Jose taken into the centre of the square and publically flogged for this most heinous of crimes.?

OK when Bony's re opens we go along but take our own chairs flood the square still buy our drinks from Bony's what will they do about that ???. They not Bony's chairs he's not put them out people just turned up.
