It's one of my pet hates, they are showing complete disregard of the law and for their own safety. Once again a minority giving others a bad name, i know police resources are limited but they need to patrol the front line and hand out a few hefty fines .

No police needed Madam "S".
Put you on the payroll and away we go.
Anyone that can keep us unruly bunch in order would have no problems with a few cyclist.

A frosty stare at the offenders should do the trick:eek:

Should that fail then the old black leather and whip will send em off with a flea in their ear.:D

Now , where have I left my medication?

Sunshades going up on the main beach!:cool:

I see by the weather on the webcam we have what my late wife and I used to call a PPS.(perfect Pollensa Sunday). Absolutely glorious.

Oh How I miss those days.

Sorry to go on about it folks , but some times it really gets to me and today is a particularly bad one.

But as long as you have all your wonderful memories she is still with you, sending a virtual hug ;).

Thanks for the kind words.
It's just over 2 years now, but in my head it might as well be 2 days.

Time is a great healer it is said, however, as I suffer from Old goat syndrome I don't have time on my side.

Still, enough of this depressing talk.
The last time I looked, it was not a Samaritans helpline.
Onward and upward folks because the last time I checked there was no rewind button of life.

I thank you all for allowing me a slight deviation from the boards intended use.

Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible. (sounds like a TV fault :D)

PS Thanks for the virtual hugs. It gave me a virtual blush.

Pollensafan, this may not be the Samaritans but that doesn't mean we can't show a bit of compassion and support when one of us is having a hard time, chin up my friend ;):).

Thank You Madam "S".

Chin up indeed, shouldn't be a problem as I have several to choose from. :)

Yep...We've not met and I have no idea how you must be feeling Pollensafan, but try and keep busy and stay positive!

I often think with this forum that I feel that I know people, even though I have not met any of you! And what a lovely sense of belonging that gives. This forum is a great place to be with like minded friends especially when things are tough

Thanks Rockape, You sound like a chimp off the old block, Sorry, just my warped sense of humour ;)

I swear that's what gets me through sometimes.

Nice to see one disabled parking spot by the crossing.
But the glaring error noticed this morning Busses dropping of and picking up at the Romantic Hotel having to stop in the middle of the road blocking traffic .Would it not be better to take four parking places away and make it a coach stop outside the Hotel.
Just when it was all going and looking so well another oversight.

...

Noticed this last week on the webcam too. Quite a backlog of cars building up quickly.

They mightn't be finished with all the road markings as the disabled spot and the yellow 'no parking' lines were only applied yesterday (I think).

Re Disabled spot,
Don't be greedy my noble lord.
One spot is more than enough for you when you have overdosed at lunch time on the Cruz Campo. Hic, Hic.
M'lady can always collect you on her way out in the evening.:D

(I'm sure someone will lend her a wheel barrow.)

Just caught a snap shot on see Mallorca cam of about 8 cyclist going past the beach bar.
Still shouldn't complain, at least 2 of them were in the cycle lane.
Take your pick for the rest of em between the pavement and the road.

I saw a delivery lorry parked in the disabled bay this morning :mad:.

I have no doubt Madam "S" that it was delivering the noble lords beer for his arrival this week.;)

To be fair to the cyclists there were cycle line markings applied with orange cones placed along the cycle lane in front of the markings.
