Just started on BBC2 as I type: "Evil Under the Sun" a Poirot mystery featuring Peter Ustinov as the intrepid detective.

The locale is Port Pollensa and surrounds.

The Pine Walk looked very attractive in the opening scenes.

Just saw the closing credits and then saw it was filmed in Mallorca - aargh!

Have recorded this for later but watched the opening titles and loved the pretty watercolour sketches which included Es Colomer, the Calvari, Formentor lighthouse and PP beach

That was the film that we were watching starring Peter Ustinov.

Apparently the villa scenes were filmed in Raixa - recently reopened to the public - see https://raixa.conselldemallorca.cat/ It appears to be open all year Tue-Sat 10-3 apart from public holidays and is free of charge. looking at the photos I think that the gardens were filmed there too. Has anyone visited? We may go when we're next out.

I was confused because Puerto Pollensa was not mentioned in the link El Gordo posted and Clinkham had said it was filmed here .

I didn't notice Puerto Pollensa at the beginning - did anyone else? We thought the first beach scene was at Formentor - but we may have missed it.
