Many thanks Sparky.
Provide or get advice on everything Puerto Pollensa, ask questions, gain confirmation or just become apart of a friendly, like minded community.
Good morning, I wondered if anyone had any information re current lockdown measures in the province of Pollensa, we are due to travel tomorrow and wondered re the latest figures, or whether there is any hint of the province going into any further restrictions? Many thanks.
It's great, the streets are so quiet. No f@rty mopeds or drunks shouting .....
... I've still got to climb the church tower and fit mufflers to the bells though![]()

That is a very good question and I’d love to know the answer to that. The cost of two way tests, to and from Mallorca, will massively impact upon the tourist industry. Even if Spain comes out of its “red” status the test will still be required. I wonder when we will realistically be able to return to our apartment? With the British government announcing today that all arrivals into England will from next week require evidence of a negative Covid Test taken no more than 72 hours before arrival and the Scottish government announcing the same for arrivals into Scotland, does anybody know:-
(1) Where in the north of the island such private tests can be obtained with a guarantee of results in the required timeline?
(2) What they cost (in the UK the charges vary from £60 to £500 per person!)?
(3) How and where the tests can be booked and how far in advance can a booking be made?
Thanks.
At last, from Sunday 6th June there will be no curfew.
Bars and restaurants can open on terraces and inside until midnight with 8 per table outside and 4 inside.
Beaches will close from 10pm until 6am.
This is great news. Fingers crossed, we arrive on Saturday. Does the limit per table also apply to children under 5? They are exempt from some U.K. restrictions.
Well the U.K. has gone and left the Balearics off the “green” list again which, in my view, is pretty ridiculous. Arriving on Saturday so time to book day 2 and 8 tests for return. Grrrrr!
My heart goes out to the PP businesses who were hoping for better news.
Where do you book your tests?
