Out for 12 days - should have been 3 weeks but BA cancelled all Palma flights from Southampton from 1st October so now flying from Bournemouth.

Another Thursday to Monday trip booked at the end of the month. Hoping we strike it lucky with the weather!

9 days (was 7 but easyJet cancelled original flight home) 28th to 6th Nov. This is a special one as I’m semi retiring and taking out my adult children and their partners. We have rented a fantastic house in the old town. Can’t wait!

Back on the 10th to the 24th October, father in law's 80th Birthday and the whole family are meeting here.

Just me and 11 like minded golfers on our annual golf jolly ready to enjoy the food, drink, hospitality and everything else this great resort offers - oh yes - and maybe play a little golf :)

Hi Rockape,

As a group we have been coming out for 14 years now and love the golf in Mallorca. Whilst most of the courses are in the South, we prefer to travel as little as possible (to be fair to the driver volunteers) and good golf can be found at Alcanada (a bit pricey now tho), Pula (designer Jose Maria Olazabal) and Canyamel.

However we always play Pollença which is only 9 holes (played twice) but the 9th / 18th is one of my favourite golf holes (try to score a goal between the two huge trees some 250 yards down the fairway).

On the way home we normally play the Jack Nicklaus course at Mallorca Park / Puntiro which is only 10 minutes from the airport, before flying home.

That said this year we are playing Son Termens for a change and Son Vida in Palma (a Seve favourite) before flying home.

In summary, go for it, you and your chums will love it because all courses are as excellent as the hospitality in PP,

I look forward to an invitation in the future:)

Cheers

Paul

PS I arrange all the golf through Mark and Tracy at Simply Mallorca Golf. They are excellent and can get you some good green fee discounts!! :)

Thanks Paul, Ive played Pollensa a few times and enjoyed it. Getting through the goal posts requires a particularly long and straight shot...not quite made it yet! I have visited Alcanada with my family for a drink and look around....looks great!

Will definitely try and arrange a trip next year.

Back again to our usual Pollensa townhouse 6-22 October. Interested to see how prices compare and whether we will still eat out as much... This will be our (almost) 36th consecutive year!
