Apparently by Sea Bar.is
How is Sea Bar.is these days?
I remember some not so good reviews a while back. I hope things have improved especially if they are taking over a larger premises.
It only as good as the staff at the time.

I was in Sea Bar Is at the end of last season and it was a fairly pleasant spot for lunch. They were re decorating a couple of weeks ago so it'll be all shiny when it re opens.

I think Sea.Bar.is really good. Toni is a really nice guy and there’s always a warm welcome there. Nice views and definitely in our plans in two weeks time.

Good to hear. I'm going back 6 years....

Expensive!
This will be another venue for them. I think they also have La Gola, next to Tolo's.

I may be wrong but I think Sea Bar.is, Llaut , Embat Chiringuito, La Cantina, Voramar 57, Idilico Beach House and La Gola are all owned by Grupo Embat. While I think these places are very nice, for breakfast or lunch, they all have the same or very similar menus. I loved Casa Marques and Casa Vila di Mare as they were independents with fantastic menus, and in a very great location with lovely views of the bay. I think it would be sad if PP was taken over by chains all churning out the same food.

I agree we avoid Chaineys like the plague

Many years ago, we loved the old El Ancla where Casa Vila di Mare is. It just had such a welcoming atmosphere with good food. The t-bone steaks were enormous.

I am pretty sure Sea.Bar.Is and Embat are seperate companies. Sea.Bar.Is has itself, La Gola and now Casa Vila di Mar (or whatever it will be called). Embat has La Cantina eu Moll Nou, Embat Chiringuito, Llaut, and Voramar 57. I do not know who owns Idilico

So is Casa Vila de Mare no more ? Going to be a different type of restaurant ? I’m surprised it was always so busy does anyone know the reason why it’s in new hands ? I know Casa Marques next door had the same owners is it opening does anyone know ? Thanks

Maybe Vila Cuisines anted to release capital. There is confusion as to whether Casa Marques has been sold or not. There are people working on it at the moment and as the signage has not changed, unlike next door, I guess not. Casa Vila di Mar is now called Unico Beach Club so I assume it will be similar to Idilico Beach Club (both Sea. bar.Is owned)

Where is Idilico Beach club? or what was it previously called? Can't say I've heard of it.

Looking at Google Maps, I think it's called 'Idilico Beach House', and it's at the seafront of the Hotel Bahia.

Hi Mike, yes that is right regarding location. It opened at some point after the season started last year - I can’t remember if it was during my May or September visit (we don’t go in the height of the summer anymore, and I couldn’t go in June last year). It looked lovely but we didn’t manage to fit in a visit, so I can’t comment beyond this.

Yes, Idilico opened last year and is a really nice looking place, although we didn't eat there. Next to Hotel Bahia. Velomar is still there, slightly further down.
