Mine would be very similarIf I was here for seven evenings I’d probably go for:-
Stay
El Posito
Zarzales
Yacht Club
C’an Josep
Amazo
Celler la Parra
If I was staying longer I’d add a load more! There’s really are some cracking restaurants in the port.
Funnily enough we returned to Los Z after a long break as well, and the food was exceptional. Not sure why we stopped going , other than we used to go a lot and new places opened. Had a very warm welcome from Yolanda and Cristian, and it was lovely to see their son working there too. It confirmed to me that their suckling pig is the best is in the Port, and my daughter said the lamb chops were too!I do try and move outside of my inner circle of favourite restaurants occasionally and last month we returned to Zarzales after a long break. Glad I did!
Also a fan of Stay, Can Josep, Cella La Parra, La LLonja and Coral.

Lamb - Zarzales, El Posito or C’an JosepSimilar theme, but maybe linked. Possibly Members could nominate their preferences for: Lamb, Suckling Pig, Paella (all types), Fish, Italian, etc. I have my favourites (will reveal later), but am undecided about Paella. Any thoughts?
Especially with the theatrical ‘burning’ at the table!I had the lamb chops....they were the best and I've tasted a lot!![]()
Can I just say I have loved reading all the posts. It's been such a long time since we have been able to visit, it's good to hear the different recommendations!Thank you for all the recommendations. Will post my choices and reviews. We arrive 14 September
Your mention of sandwiches....has anyone heard how Al Fresco is doing?Only thing I've eaten in the port this week was an awful sandwich from the Spa
Meanwhile up in town you'll struggle to go wrong. Respira always safe, Onze if you want to be seen while being safe, Capitol if you want to be seen having pizza ( their lamb is great too), Can Moixet if you're easy about the food and just want to watch everyone else. Mares is always friendly and we had some amazing steaks. Font de Gall is a very civilised version of Mares. Ocho is like Onze but 3 less. Im staying away from the club because it's a bit busy down there. Ile Giardino is nice... just haven't been in yonks.
And at lunch, if at all possible, Celler El Moli.
Loads more which we could go into... just not as good for a proper meal out.
