We will be in PP in November and just wondered if anybody celebrates bonfire night?

With respect, why would the locals celebrate it? I suppose that some expats might, but there are surely enough local fiestas with their spectacular displays to keep even the most pyromaniac?

Don't know of any November 5th bonfire parties in the area,
Bonfire night (eve of San Antoni) is on January 16th in these parts!

Maybe they'll burn an effigy of George Bush instead as it's the presidential election that day too

I'm not trying to suggest that we bring our English customs to PP but we have missed all the local fiestas (with fireworks) and wondered if we would be likely to catch some firework displays in November. I believe these displays are really good.
