Taxi charge from airport

Having just arrived in PP from the airport please take note everyone -
it will now cost a whopping 75 euro to cross the island in less
than 45 minuets.
I am going to advise my guests this year to hire a car !!!

Wow.....that is expensive but I know for a fact charges are more expensive on a Sunday compared to other days!!

PS That is if you pick it up from the taxi rank at the airport, therefore better pre-booking your taxi saving a little bit!!

Last year's 'official' rate was 70 EUR which we took from the signs by the ranks in PP. I'm not sure if they are up yet for 2009. Has anyone seen them yet?

It is better and cheaper to pre book your taxi. Jose at Conde Taxis tells me they are keeping last years prices so it will be 70 euros one way. His service is superb and they never charges any excess. Also has a gorgeous Mercedes Estate so we arrive in style!

We used Jose last year for ourselves and my sister in law. Jose was prompt and did the trip twice on the last day as my sis in law left before us. We will be rebooking for our June trip and it's great news that he's keeping the price the same.

How right you are. I have been using Hose for years His service is second to none. He's promised me a bottle of wine this year from his own vinyard in granada which his father manages.
