Folks,

Saw something today which I'd never seen before . Driving back from Alcudia and around the bay there were a few light showers. But the most incredible thing was that the rainbow was only visible up the sides of the mountains behind town ( the sky above being just totally blue ).

It really was amazing with such vivid colours ,clearly distinguishable against the hillsides . Looked like a laser show had been specially set up. Obviously lost the effect as I came into town .

Surprising how you can suddenly get these weather effects , bit like Debs's Puppy ( I'm not convinced on that though, might be her old problem, eh folks ??? :D:D)

BL Sounds a bit like Lucy in The Sky with Diamonds to me !!! :D Obviously far too much El Blotto has been imbibed over the last couple of months....time to come back to Blighty!

If you're very good I'll show you my puppy next time we're in PP ;)

I have taken some really great photos of various places on the island at this time of the year. The light in Mallorca is glorious and for me the sunsets now are usually gorgeous. I love to go Bonaire and look at the view over the Bay up to Formentor. Exquisite!!!!

BL even i can see the "Puppy" and i don't need El Blotto. You do need to go to south sandy beach area though, i could not see him from Orange Bar.;)

On a similar theme I drove over to Formentor on Tuesday

Stopped at the photo spot and climded to the tower ........ amazing to see the sea so choppy in the wind as I have normally just seen never ending smooth blue ........ anyway the spray was whipping up into mini whirlpools which then became little rainbows ........ they were fascinating .. I have a piccy and if I can get my head round how to do it I'll add it to this post

Puppy clearly visible from about 100yds either side of Leetle Italeee last week ........... only in the afternoon and evening but I promise that had nothing to do with whatever passed my lips at lunch
 
Please excuse my ignorance but can you please explain to me what this puppy thing is?? It keeps being mentioned and to be honest I haven't a clue - have I missed something? Oh - perhaps I shouldn't ask!! lol

Debz found him at last thinking I had to much El Blotto In your picture hes just above the red flag in the water.

Ahh Debz - now I know - I was beginning to wonder if the puppy was a private joke lol

I will be looking for him next time out. Has he a name by the way??
