Globespan Flight Slots

I just heard this last night Kiss Flights are taking over some Globespan flight slots from Glasgow Airport.Hopefully will save having to drive to Manchester or Newcastle for those of us in West of Scotland.It was actually announced a few days ago but I didn't notice on telly or radio. Here is Link to article on BBC website, BBC News - New airline fills Globespan slots at Glasgow Only slight concern says they will be using a Boeing 737 aircraft.Which to me suggests only 1 aircraft so how many routes can they cover?

Ryanair fly to Palma from Prestwick airport, easily accessed from the M77, it also has a train station with a walkway right into the airport.

just checked out Kiss websites ( Kiss Flights ) & (On The Beach Limited -- Create your own holiday!)

The first link does have glasgow departures but not flying to Palma, so far.

The second link , has a flight only section and does appear to do glasgow/palma... but at a price I did a quick search for a couple of days at the end of march for 2. Quoted £151pp and that was departing GLW but returning to PIK ! )

Hi All

BA Flights from Glasgow to Palma available flight only from 'Teleticket Flights' 07.00 from Glasgow returning 10.40 from Palma, Saturdays. Not sure of start finish date but are avialble for June and September (too late for me as booked with Thomson and T Cook).

These are likley to be the Barrhead package but on flight only. At least another option at good times.

Kiss are now showing flights to Palma but seems to be very limited availability and not that cheap

Have to agree with you Alana, poor availability, very expensive, a measly 15kg hold and 5 kg cabin allowance and to cap it all departure time 23.55 !!. Coming back is a bit better (slightly) departs PMI at 22.30.

Even makes Ryanair seem like a good deal!. I'll give them a miss.
