Hi all

Where exactly in Pollensa is "Piccolo Forno" please? I love my pizza's and I've yet to have a good one in PP. They're always so much better when done in the proper ovens.

There is a pizza place on the main drag into PP on the left as you come in near what I call the "barrel" restaurant but I've never been there.

Just opened today, different name but same pizza maker and one of the old waiters, wood fired oven etc much smaller but hopefully same standards.I will definitely be going there!

Piccolo Formo

I was in Pollenca two weeks ago and in discussion with 'original staff members' who are indeed already operating in what was the delli next door, minus the original boss, I was told that 'by the end of Feb, the orignal location will be operating again' with the original staff plus 'a brother of one of the waiters'. How much of this is based on hope rather than reality can only be guessed because there will be debts to settle before the original site can be re-occupied. We fans can only live in hope.

They are very much working on the premises now, and intend(I think they will)open as a restaurant and buffet by the end of Feb. Meanwhile, next door they continue to serve the best pizzas in the area

The original site is the one going to reopen, but alongside(same people)are running a small restayrant and takeaway(hope this makes sense!)
