I'm just back from a week in PP and was going to do a post on my views but may as well just put it here.
I don't think PP is the place I first visited in 1986(just a boy!), but everywhere changes over time. The thing that doesn't change is the inherent natural beauty,of not just PP, but much of this part of Mallorca.I love eating out and I don't know of any other small place where you can find so many quality restaurants many concentrating on regional cuisine.I live near Glasgow and a place like El Posito, for example, just doesn't exist.
I read on here about Nostalgia,Lemon Bar and Bar Imperial so had a look at them all. Lemon Bar didn't go in walked past a few times never noticed much in the way of either it being busy or loud music.Bar Imperial walked past many times didn't go in.One night the "entertainer"appeared to be making a point to a customer and turned his mike and music up really loud,it was bad.On another occasion again noticed it was loud but very busy and all seemed to be having a good time.Nostalgia I went in a couple of occasions was pretty lively but again all seemed to be having good time, not usually my cup of tea, kareoke etc but the barman does make exceptional Mojitos! The street where Nostalgia is reminded me of Santa Ponsa but its only one street and never saw anything I would consider out of order.
I also visited Soller and Puerto Soller and will definitely consider exploring a bit further. It does look like lovely place.
Finally highlight of hols met Mr & Mrs Sparky in El Posito and had a wee chat, great stuff!
