Nostalgias winter warmers.

Nostalgia have introduced a new menu for the winter which will consist of chargrilled steaks, roast dinners, German specials, Thai and Indian curries.

El Posito is not closing 20th Dec until Feb. Toni has decided to wait and see how things go but he will be closed 22/23/24/25/26 December and will re-open on the 27th.

Can Torrens has now closed until 15th January 2011.

I now realize that the reason that I keep bumping into you in the bars and restaurants is purely so that you can keep everyone informed of what is going on here in the Port. You are doing a grand job and if you need any help I shall try to keep up with you and your lovely hubbie. . . . .. wonderful lunch in El Posito yesterday despite waiting until 1530 for my starter. It was heaving and wonderful local atmosphere which is what makes it so popular. First time ever that Toni has not closed his doors for a few months - I hope he thinks its worthwhile. Sure to see you around over next couple of weeks fiestas as we keep the Port open!! FELIZ NAVIDAD.

Called in to El Posito at lunchtime and Toni has said he will be open for lunch throughout January except for the 1st, 6th and 17th.

Pollenca Golf

Today we tried the menu del dia at the Pollenca Golf Club Restaurant. 10 euros for 3 courses. Good food, well prepared and cooked, and nicely presented. Drinks a tad expensive but as a package it is good value and well worth a visit.

The Meson Crestatx has reopened and I am told it is warmer in there and good value for 9euro's MDD

Lollipop have you heard any more about this place? ie: opening times.

We've heard that Meson Crestaix has now been reopened by Mallorcan owners so I'm not sure that the review above applies any more. If anyone does visit the new Meson Crestaix, please post as a separate review - thanks.

Don't know opening times but will ask a friend who lives out there. All I know is that I believe it to be the original owners who have done it up and reopened it.
