Yes there is a big cycling event going on (lots of tight Lycra on view).
Provide or get advice on everything Puerto Pollensa, ask questions, gain confirmation or just become apart of a friendly, like minded community.
kate1;55961 Now it has the new restaurant and bar it would be a good place to hang out - not sure what their facilities are for storing bikes though.[/QUOTE said:Well
Maybe they could get a few lardies to touch their toes on the beach .
Perfect bike storing solution IMO

Thank you for that Sparky
We will have to make more effort to see what else is nearby when we are there

Think you'll find Tolo is still there but the hotel will change dramatically with Swiss Germans in controlLike you many of you cyclists I have been holidaying at Pollensa Park for 20 years and have seen how the owners have ploughed back the profits into improving the hotel.
I will be there in 2 weeks and although I know that Pedro, Tolo and Toni will not be there as usual, life must go on.
We have all read that Spain has been going through torrid times financially but like all true Brits, we do not expect that such problems will have any impact on us.
I will not give up on the hotel in which I have spent over a year of my life just because they (and we) are having to face reality. From what I read, regular parties just missing out one year could cause further problems to the viability, encouraging others to do the same will have a riotous effect and could well lead to the hotel's demise.
Remember the good times before you sound the death knell
