Who is out in August?.

Back out 10/26th, Mrs Smiddy keeps booking these flights and asks me to come with her! What's a man supposed to do:D

As i've already spent a month there recently, i can confirm everything is still fabi-do! Justs gets better everytime.

Our first visit to PP arriving 5th August for 2 weeks...can't wait!
 
Hubby and I out on 27th August for 10 days,can't wait! Counting down the days till we are back,enjoying the "fix" of reading posts on the forum,all part of the big build up.So many more "get-ups"till we are back in our favourite place!
 
I was going to say welcome Chris but I see you joined us in 2008, you must be our longest serving newbie, can we not change that and make her a full member mods?

I'm a newbie...and have so loved this forum everyone so helpful feel I know the place already:) Only 3 more sleeps....and we'll become 'fully paid up members'!! How many posts Sparky before I can be a full member?

Out on the 8th ...hope my 2 weeks hols go as slowly as the last 2 weeks at work...can't wait!
 
Arriving 12th for 2 weeks. should be having first beer by 12 noon.

Probably 1st evening in C'an Josep.

Never know might see you sometime Sparky, last time we passed you were falling up the steps at El Ancla:rolleyes: , I'll have to buy you a drink for all the info you pass on.;)
 
Hello from the longest serving newbie!(unless you know different?)

Tis me,maybe i should go for the record re the above,ha ,ha.
Hubby and I are staying at The Duva again,(2nd time)we thoroughly enjoyed our stay before,this time it's just the two of us......ahhhhhh,girls all grown up now, youngest is 19,she had fond memories of doing a"turn" singing on stage there,she's never forgotten it!
Last year we stayed at The Romantic,top floor room with Sea -View to boot,amazing!
Love Puerto Pollensa,never heard of it before hubby was made redundant after 32 years with same company in London,he decided he'd take us abroad after many years visiting Glorious Devon,travel agent said......"what about this?".Majorca...apart from being unable to afford it one year ,we went to Cala Bona",lovely resort,but it was NOT Puerto Pollensa,,,now we are convinced we have found our own bit of paradise!
P.s .."Get-ups" working in a primary school,we count down our get ups...towards the end of term especially the summer one!
 
I'll be out again for a very short trip from 22nd & will try to make the meet-up on Thu 25th (Marina Cafe, 11:15 ish), so if you're about then, do come along & say hello. :)

we have stayed at the duva many times even the first year it opened! but due to finances we are stopping at cala bona for a week from 9th aug, never been there befor. we will miss our pp this year, but have promised the wife we will have a drive up to pp for the day while were there...
 
Chris..we are at the Duva also..will keep a eye out for you...last day at work tomorrow!

Bags I first in line for August 2012. Just booked a nice apartment on Bellresguard for the family - for a fornight commencing August 25th. Well, you have got to have something to look forward to, haven't you?

I was surprised that even at this distance a good number of the slightly larger than average properties (which we were looking for) seemed to be getting booked up already.
