In all the places I've travelled to I've never experienced the heat produced by the breeze here today, and it was a good job we had that breeze though.
The heat here at the moment is something else.

Sat at the Cappuccino bar now with a beer and the walk here was like walking in front of a fire!

Hola amigos. There is quite a change today, it is cloudy and there is a 25% risk of rain, the main thing is that it has gone much cooler . Normal service should be resumed from tomorrow .

Wow!! after having had a few light showers earlier, we have just had what i can only assume is a "Coastal Phenomena", there was a sudden roaring noise outside as the wind came up, things were clattering around on balconies and doors, windows and shutters were banging shut . This was accompanied by a very heavy downpour . TV and internet signals were lost temporarily but as quickly as it came it was gone and the temperature is now a chilly 21c .

Apologies for back tracking here Sparky - just catching up now back home. We were watching the football in Brisas Marina at the time, and I have since read that it was infact the tail of a mini tornado!! As you say, it didnt last long, but a brolly was a casualty of the restaurant - I have a couple of photos on flickr of it, but loaded them back to front! Thank goodness there wasnt a goal happening at the time as the brolly became the main focus!

Belladonna that must have been another "CP" because the one i reported was about 6.15pm so before the football had kicked off at 8.45pm, although it did remain very windy for a few hours after .

Yep, just checked back on the photos and it was taken at 19.21 which was UK time on the camera. The wind had been building for quite a while, as you say, but after this burst it blew itself out and just stayed breezy and ominous!
