See they are finally demoilshing/renovating the old bus station, wonder what it's going to be

I loved calling into the bar there, the floor was covered in fag ends and nut shells but an ice cold cana and a plate of deep fried chicken wings with bread were a must do on every visit, yum!!! .

I think that the old station was only still in use for the first 2 years we came to PP/CSV but I never even knew that there was a bar there even though we go everywhere on public transport and passed through the station many times. I mustn't be as observant as I thought!!

Where was the old bus station? We've only ever known the bus to stop on the main road.

Go up Via Alcudia from the Monument Sq,past Clivia and the taxi rank,veer slightly left at the farmacy and the old stn is on your right,before you see the cloisters.

Wasn't always the easiest place to find if I remember correctly! And often a long wait for a bus in those days.

Can remember long waits for the bus with 3 small children after the market. Wish I'd known about the bar!

Talking to a local resident who has contacts in the local council, we were told to-day that permission has been given by the local council for the old bus station to be re-developed as a Chinese Store/Supermarket. I know what I think but best not publish my thoughts.
